**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:
As a GMF Funding Operations Funder - Summer Student you'll gain hands-on, real-world experience alongside industry-leading professionals during this summer program. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a professional environment and build a strong foundation for your future career. This temporary position during the summer months will operate as a GMF Funding Specialist where you will be funding auto loans and leases while maintaining the highest level of integrity.

In this role you will:

- Perform accurate analysis, verifications and audit of all documentation required to complete the loan or lease funding processes, according to the company's operating policies and procedures within the assigned deliverable standards
- Ensure all credit decision requirements, documents and/or stipulations are followed and/or obtained
- Maintain current knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements relating to contract documentation, lien perfection, and the company's operating programs, policies and procedures
- Understand various GM loan and lease programs within the assigned market and ensure proper execution on those programs

Qualifications:

- Basic knowledge of effective customer service techniques
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Interpersonal skills necessary to promote a cooperative team environment and provide good customer service

**Education & Experience**:

- Automotive and customer service experience is an asset
- Must be actively pursuing post secondary school degree
