**Position Summary**:
Western Mechanical is seeking a full-time general labourer to support the civil department at our company in Barrie, Ontario. The civil department oversees a wide range of functions and tasks within the organization. Work will vary from one project to another.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Loading and unloading construction materials, and moving materials to work areas.
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete.
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and working around heavy machinery.
- Rebar, welding, and form setting.
- Demolition and repair work including but not limited to, drywall, masonry, and general construction.
- Must complete all mandatory training as required and comply with all Health and Safety procedures as outlined in company policies.

**License**:

- Ontario G Class Drivers License (required)
- Reliable Transportation (required)
- DZ or AZ Licence (An Asset)

**Term, Hours of Work and Compensation**:

- Benefits, GRSP, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available after 3-month probationary period.
- This is a full-time position.
- The role is entitled to vacation pay and paid statutory holidays.
