Job Title: General Contractor (Carpentry & Interior Construction)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced General Contractor with a strong background in construction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a few years' experience in carpentry, including fine woodwork, precise cutting, and framing of doors, windows, and interior trim/baseboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carpentry work including framing, finishing, and fine wood details
- Installing and trimming around doors, windows, and baseboards
- General interior construction tasks as required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Maintaining a professional and safe work environment
Job Details:
- This is an out-of-town position
- Lodging and food are fully provided at no cost
- Work location is approximately eight hours north of Barrie
- Scheduling will operate in two-week intervals out of town

This position is open to both individual applicants (employee status) and businesses interested in subcontracting.
Applicants with their own tools and equipment are preferred.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in carpentry or general construction
- Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
- Able to travel and remain on-site for two-week rotations
- Own tools and equipment strongly preferred
