Job Title: General Contractor (Carpentry & Interior Construction)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced General Contractor with a strong background in construction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a few years' experience in carpentry, including fine woodwork, precise cutting, and framing of doors, windows, and interior trim/baseboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carpentry work including framing, finishing, and fine wood details
  • Installing and trimming around doors, windows, and baseboards
  • General interior construction tasks as required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Maintaining a professional and safe work environment

Job Details:

  • This is an out-of-town position
  • Lodging and food are fully provided at no cost
  • Work location is approximately eight hours north of Barrie
  • Scheduling will operate in two-week intervals out of town

Applicants with their own tools and equipment are preferred.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in carpentry or general construction
  • Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
  • Able to travel and remain on-site for two-week rotations
  • Own tools and equipment strongly preferred
