We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to play a critical role in how we go to market. Reporting directly to the President, you are responsible to oversee and execute all communications and marketing activities, grow brand awareness and be an integral part of growing the success of the business by engaging on social media, maintaining a highly optimized website, supporting positive community and internal involvement, having a focus on customer retention and relations. You will also measure and track all our campaigns with a goal to increase brand awareness and market share. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with web analytic tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, evolve, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy from ideation to execution for Budget Propane as well as our affiliate companies: Calloway Storage and Simcoe Gases
- Oversee advertising and promotional campaigns (online, radio, print, etc.)
- Development of marketing and communications materials
- Analyze impact of current marketing initiatives to adjust and optimize accordingly
- Representation at industry events (conferences, seminars, etc.)
- Guide internal teams on communication protocols and branding

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years of experience in marketing communications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- Be ready to immerse yourself in the field of propane energy
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Ability to understand technical, energy related topics and communicate them effectively
- Must have CRM experience (HubSpot is preferred)
- Must have Social Media Management and Content Creation experience
- Must have experience with Analytics, Google, SEO and SEM
- Must have creative design experience
- Experience with Digital Advertising, Paid Search and Social Advertising
- Must have experience managing and editing websites
- Ability to design artwork for traditional and digital advertising purposes
- Experience generating detailed reports and using the findings to enhance and optimize marketing initiatives
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs
- Strong organizational skills, able to meet tight deadlines and to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
