Plumber

We are currently seeking a fully licensed or 5-year apprentice Plumber to add to our team

**Key responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair various piping systems, fixtures, and equipment used for the distribution, supply, or disposal of water and wastewater in residential buildings, including plumbing appliances and fixture systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines.
- Correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.

**Knowledge, skills and abilities**
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- A 306A license, mechanical and HVAC knowledge is considered an asset
- Holds a valid Certificate of Qualification
- Ability to work on call on a rotational basis
- Ability to read, assess and execute blueprints and drawings
- Ability to travel locally to job sites
- Ability to perform physical tasks on construction sites, including working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms
- Possesses a valid and up to date driver’s license and a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to troubleshoot, make on-site decisions and adapt to a changing work environment
- Skilled in identifying issues and delivering prompt, effective solutions while maintaining exceptional customer service
