Elte is Toronto's source for considered design for all things home. Our sister brand, Mkt, is an independent design house creating pieces for a modern, edited home. We have three large showrooms within Toronto's Design District. In the Elte Showroom, you'll find Rugs and Carpeting, Furniture, Lighting, Mattresses, Linens and Home Decor.

What We are Looking For:
We are looking a highly organized Digital Operations Web Merchandising Assistant to help execute the online presentation and digital strategies under the guidance and leadership of the Director of Digital. Our site strives to serves as our total digital catalogue and, thus, is the preeminent counterpart to our showroom experience and the farthest-reaching presentation of our heritage brand to interior designers, architects, tastemakers, and leaders within the design community. As such, the ideal team member deeply committed to delivering an exceptional brand and product presentation through a service-minded, collaborative, and detail-focused approach.

What You Do (Among Other Things):
- Optimize product presentation and digital data to ensure discoverability, encourage cross-product and cross-category shopping, build customer and salesperson confidence in product information, and ensure a seamless ability to transact or schedule an appointment in one of our showrooms
- Follow brand guidelines for merchandising logic, brand parameters, and presentation expectations and execute your designated category accordingly
- In partnership with your leader as well as merchandising and marketing partners, ensure product campaigns and events are optimized and complete on time and to brand standards
- Serve as quality assurance for your designated product category and ensuring cross-functional partners have signed-off on required content and presentation prior to going live on the site
- Manage day-to-day site updates related to your product category and identifying, documenting, and escalating bugs or opportunities as it relates to a seamless and elevated digital customer experience
- Leverage analytics and reporting to measure performance and provide findings and insights that will help guide the assortment, marketing strategies, and digital roadmap

**Requirements**:
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

Strong Excel skills and high level of comfort with technology and data

Shopify experience highly desired; Salsify experience a plus

Understanding of retail, digital and merchandising concepts and language

Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter mentality

Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative in-office environment

Curious, driven and takes initiative

Understanding of and appreciation for luxury products and clientele

Shopify experience highly desired; Salsify experience a plus
