**What to expect in the role**

**50% Team Leadership & Application Support**
- Coach, mentor, and conduct code reviews; enforce technical standards and documentation practices.
- Ensure best practices, SOPs, and security protocols are followed across systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive adoption of digital tools and a strong user experience.
- Liaise with vendors and support the VP in shaping technical roadmaps and project execution.

**50% Hands-on Technical Contribution**
- Contribute directly to complex support tickets, data integrations, reporting, automation, and system tuning.
- Lead efforts in API development, automation, and process improvement.
- Deliver staff training and create supporting documentation for systems and tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot outages in hybrid SaaS/on-prem environments.

**Who we're looking for**

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in a leadership or team management role.
- Experience in the distribution industry is an asset.

**Technical Skills**
- Technical Solution Design or Technical Application Support experience with SQL Server, experience supporting large platforms such as ERPs, CRMs, and Data Analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, M365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Salesforce, HubSpot, and reporting tools.
- Familiar with ERP, WMS, and eCommerce systems.
- Experience with integration platforms, low-code/no-code tools, and process automation.
- Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices.

**Leadership & Communication**
- Collaborative leadership style with a strong alignment to E.B. Horsman’s values.
- Skilled in project planning, team communication, and change management.
- Comfortable working across departments and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage conflict professionally and maintain strong working relationships.

**Note**: All team members, including managers, must maintain an RCMP background security clearance.
