**About this opportunity**
As a key member of the Finance team, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will use knowledge and experience to support the timely and accurate execution of full cycle accounts payable functions. This position will report to Manager, Accounts Payable or their designate.
**Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day**:
- Full cycle Accounts Payable functions using JIRA ticketing dashboard.
- Matching/batching and coding of invoices and timely release of vendor payments.
- Process, reconcile and validate expense reports.
- Provide customer service to internal clients.
- Follow-up with vendors and reconcile payment queries and statement of accounts.
- Maintain vendor files.
- Assist in preparing monthly accruals, various account reconciliation; audits, and other administration duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Ongoing improvement of existing processes and systems.
**Here’s what you’ll need to be successful**:
- 1 - 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically in Excel
- Able to work independently and also as an effective member of a team
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines
- Able to communicate with various departments and different levels of management
- Able to work with highly confidential information with professionalism and tact
