Toronto, Canada Fer-Pal Infrastructure Full time

The Accounts Payable Coordinator reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and works closely with the Fer-Pal accounting team. The role is responsible for completing payments, assisting with cheque runs, and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices in a timely and efficient manner. This position is located at Fer-Pal’s North York office.

**Responsibilities**
- Review accuracy of invoices and expenses submitted for payment, including, but not limited to Mastercard and American Express as well as the allocation of receipts.
- Receive and verify payments and expenses, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy.
- Assist with reconciliation of supplier invoices and project expenses.
- Respond to supplier inquiries.
- Maintain vendor files.
- Assist with general ledger entry processing and account reconciliations.
- Work to continuously improve the Company’s payment process.
- Assist accounting team and others with ad hoc requests as needed.
- Perform other general finance/accounting duties and various tasks as required.
- Making daily payments to Toronto Paid Duties through their portal, and processing parking ticket payments.
- FER-PAL Device and hardware Management
- Other administrative duties such as: Coordinating all travel bookings for flights, hotels, and vehicle rentals for employees, setting up corporate rates and direct billing with hotels, Coordinating client and company events,
- Coordinating Charitable events
- locating and coordinating efforts for Food Banks in work areas and providing skids of food for the holiday season or when needed.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.

**Capabilities and Experience Required**
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all members of Fer-Pal team and externally with suppliers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with keen attention to details.
- Self initiating, with positive outlook and approach to problem solving.
- Able to prioritize and thrives in a high-volume workload and fast paced environment.
