Description

Are you a Regional Manager with experience supervising and coordinating field operations? Ledcor Technical Services is looking to hire a Regional Manager to support efficient deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of telecommunications infrastructure and equipment. You will provide operational and technical support to various field-based teams. Your day-to-day duties will include monitoring customer schedules, ensuring quality control, safety and delegating work to field staff and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Supervise and provide leadership, guidance to the field technicians in all aspects of business installation and repair.
- Implement training programs to enhance the technical skills and competencies of the technicians, ensuring they are proficient in all aspects of installation and repair processes.
- Monitors and manages the field technician team’s performance against metrics, performance objectives, scheduling, safety compliance and any required changes such as new hires or disciplinary measures.
- Develop and implement performance measurement systems to track key metrics, ensure adherence to performance objectives, and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee scheduling to optimize resource allocation and meet customer demands effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation support for customer issues, providing timely and effective support to resolves any issues or challenges that arise.
- Manage quote requests from customers, ensuring timely responses and accurate pricing.
- Manages various aspects of field operations including technician equipment, tools, vehicles and consumables, dispatch concerns and escalations, and deployment assistance

Qualifications:

- 2 + year’s experience providing work direction, leadership, support and training to staff
- 3+ years of field experience telecommunications industry
- Strong understanding of telecom testing equipment and tool usage
- Completed post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering or related discipline an asset
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team to metrics, objectives, customer requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, anticipate stakeholder needs, and proactively identify solutions.
- Strong organizational skills
