**Summary**

We are seeking an experienced **French Style Pastry Chef** to join our team at Heart of Food. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of our signature goods, as well as creating unique recipes that meet high standards of quality and taste. **At least 2 years of experience as a pastry chef is required.**

**We are located in East York, Toronto - please ensure you can reliably commute to this area for work.**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a variety of food products according to established recipes.
- Ensure high standards of quality and presentation.
- Opportunity to create unique baked goods and desserts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- **Previous experience of 2+ years as Pastry Chef is required.**:

- Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
