The **MTE Logistix Group of Companies **is a 3rd-Party Logistics company in western Canada, with over 3 million square feet of warehouse space in multiple facilities in Alberta. We offer warehousing, product handling, storage, distribution order fulfillment, rail and container cross-docking, product co-packing, transportation management and a complete array of 3PL services to a wide range of industries and markets.

The dynamics of the company and its desire to continue growth and expansion has created a new full-time position within its management team in **Edmonton AB** for a:
**Business Development Representative, 3PL Logistics**

**Position Summary**:
Support company growth by promoting and selling the company’s services through various methods including responding to leads from prospect contacts, website inquiries, proactive target calls, data mining, customer follow-ups, and industry referrals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Respond to inbound inquires, qualify contacts, develop proposals and quotes, and secure new business
- Complete documentation on secured business and effectively introduce the new client to the operations team, successfully onboarding the account
- Identify potential targets for new business, introduce the company’s services and explore opportunities with evaluators and decision makers
- Engage with existing clients and investigate areas of potential business growth
- Participate in marketing activities, including association meetings, trade shows and other marketing exposures to create awareness of the brands

- Results oriented, with a demonstrated record of achieving/exceeding sales targets
- Driven, self-motivated and competitive, extremely strong follow-up execution tactics
- Active listener and a quick thinker with a strategic/creative approach to challenges
- In depth sales process knowledge, including understanding the role of gatekeepers, influencers and key decision makers
- Strong MS-Office capabilities including Teams, Excel, Word, Power-Point and Outlook
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful selling experience in business-to-business markets
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics, warehousing, distribution or transportation
