**Position Summary**

The role of the People Team Generalist is to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment and onboarding, workforce planning, HR administration and policy, employee relations and support, HR strategy, and change management. This position plays a key part in supporting our employees and managers, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and driving HR initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational success.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and provincial employment law and compliance requirements.
- Monitor employee lifecycle milestones, including benefits enrollment, visa/leave tracking, and development plans.
- Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding program changes, initiatives, or company policies.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of talent management processes.
- Monitor employee morale and company culture.
- Source and recruit key talent according to defined recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with management to assist in workforce planning and identification of future staffing needs.
- Maintain employee personnel records.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action as necessary.
- Coordinate the planning, implementation, and tracking of organizational and human resource projects within specified timelines and defined deliverables.
- Recommend new policies and procedures for organizational efficiencies/improvements.
- Perform any additional tasks as required and requested by management to meet departmental business and service needs.

**Qualifications and Competencies**

- 2+ years of demonstrated and successful human resources and/or project leadership experience.
- Autonomous self-initiator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrates impeccable organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, flexible, and an innovative team player with a willingness to work within a constantly changing and at times challenging environment.
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (French/English) preferred.
- Ability to speak with all levels of management with professionalism, diplomacy, and organizational savvy.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
- CRHA/CHRP membership in process, preferred.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
