Then this is why we want to hear from you **What you'll do**: As an essential member of the People team, you will support us in our mission to design work so that people are engaged, successful, and proud of what they do. You will identify talent (internal & external) while promoting the company brand. Creativity is highly desired, with an ability to have a pulse on market trends and innovative solutions. - Coordinate key HR elements across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, on boarding, employee relations - Provide HR Support to the Canadian and US Team - Partner with the broader People & Culture team to ensure high quality implementation of HR programs - Play a front-line role in answering HR questions, escalating issues as needed, complete regular audits and analysis, and act as a trusted source of information - Manage a variety of efforts, which include support with HR initiatives, ongoing projects and coordinating the benefits administration process, - Maintain employee change status and administration updates **About You**: Although we are looking for a passionate, purpose-driven individual rather than a 100% match of the job description, this role has a few essential things. - You have 1-2 years experience as HR Generalist - agency or corporate, as well as a demonstrated interest in recruiting, technology, and innovation. - Knowledge in Canadian employment laws, specifically in Quebec - Comfort in working independently - Understanding of Payroll processes - You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a natural ability to build trusting relationships. - You are bilingual, English & French-speaking, and written (your prospects and hiring managers are not always bilingual). - You are organized with an eye for detail - this role requires a lot of follow-ups and managing competing priorities. - You have what is called the "growth mindset," you are not afraid to be challenged and to challenge others - You are enthusiastic, passionate, and have a great sense of humour. - Experience in developing and executing employer branding-related projects is a plus **Why us?**: We at magicplan believe in teamwork, fun, complex projects, simple solutions, and last but most importantly, our people Here you have the opportunity to accelerate your career and create a true impact within your field.
