HRD employees are builders of capability within the Lord's talent storehouse who hasten the cause of the Master by drawing, enabling, and improving talent and by shaping the Church's work environment, which allows employees to give their best to the Lord. Provides professional level human resource generalist support to management and employees in the following activities: benefits, compensation, employee relations, performance management, policy and procedures, recruitment and employment, safety, training/organizational development, and special HR projects. Typically serves as HR contact for assigned group/area.

Responsibilities Include: HR administrative support. Aligning workforce planning with business priorities and strategic planning activities. Performance management and metrics. Legal / policy. Organization design and development; job, data, and total compensation analysis, etc. Identifying HR solutions to support business strategy. Communicating updates regarding HR processes. Conducting selection interviews. Experience working with line management and in change management

Supervision: Works under supervision and in consultation with manager for assigned group/area.

Complexity: Work is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. Problem Solving: Demonstrates good judgment and some innovative thinking in selecting and adapting methods to solve problems and achieve expected results. Handles moderately difficult questions and requests involving limited responsibility.

Scope: Applies some strategic, analytical, and technical expertise in consultation with manager for assigned group/area. Participates in projects/assignments of moderate scope.

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field or equivalent experience 2-3 years Human Resource experience. HR Certification preferred.

Additionally: Natural Talents and Abilities for this level.

French Business-level and English proficiency.

An equivalent combination of Human Resource experience, education, and natural talents and abilities may be substituted in appropriate circumstances.
