**Maintenance/Houseperson/Handyman/Pool Operator**

**Job Summary**

Stars Inn is looking for a **Maintenance/Houseperson/Handyman **responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance and upkeep of the hotel. Maintenance/Houseperson/handyman should be able to work in any area as required by their manager to ensure maximum productivity, cleanliness and preventative maintenance standards are consistently upheld.

JOB DUTIES:

- Respond to various guest request
- Inspect public areas for cleanliness and defects and resolve defects as necessary
- Ensures the proper storage, handling and security of hotel equipment and supplies.
- Assist in cleaning where needed, assist in laundry and housekeeping.
- Get involve in the preventative maintenance program of the hotel
- Ensure a safe environment for guest and employees.
- Experience in hotel industry preferable.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry would be an asset.
- Must be reliable, punctual and English is a must.
- Experience in operating a pool is preferred.

**Job Type / Category**

It is a hotel position that require professionalism, good communication skills and ability to work with mínimal supervision.

**Benefits**:
Extended health after 3 months minimum 20 hours.

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
