We are looking for an Application Support Analyst at our Walker - Head Office location.

Reporting directly to the Software Application Manager, the incumbent will provide front-line support to key enterprise systems - mainly scale-house systems. This will include responding to technical issues, completing routing monitoring and administration of systems, working collaboratively on enhancement projects, and working with vendor support to resolve issues.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming user queries and issues.
- Perform routing administration and monitoring of systems.
- Assist with analyzing requirements and implementing custom solutions and reports.
- Collaborate with other IT members to escalate and resolve technical issues.
- Work with external vendor support to resolve technical issues.
- Assist remotely or in person with new implementations or changes to existing implementations. Keep abreast of the latest technological developments affecting our systems.

**Skills**

This position requires a demonstrated degree of initiative and judgment in order to organize and prioritize daily tasks. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with colleagues in every day working relationships.
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems and the judgement to assess when critical issues need to be escalated immediately.
- Must process exceptional customer service skills and be able to multi-task in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbally, with key stakeholders, leadership, team members, and vendors.
- Proactive in anticipating and initiating actions to make sure needs are addressed.
- Adaptable working with diverse personalities and styles.
- Logical thinking and dedication to the task at hand. Desire to learn new systems and technical skills.

**Education & Job Knowledge**

Bachelor or Associate degree in Computer Science or Programming or equivalent experience and training.

**Experience**

Greater than two years but less than or equal to three years’ experience. Experience with SQL query language and relational database systems an asset. Experience providing front-line technical support as an asset. Report development experience an asset.

**Certificates, Licenses or Registration**

A valid G Registration Ontario Driver’s License. No license or certificates are required. Certificates in relevant areas are considered an asset (i.e. SQL).
