**We’re hiring a Part-time Sports Shop Attendant at our Lakeshore location,** and we want you to be part of our vibrant team As a **Sports Shop Attendant**, you will provide outstanding customer service to our club members. You are an extrovert that thrives working in a customer focused environment.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Open and close the Sports Shop including following procedures for opening and closing the cash register
- Greet and answer all visitor questions
- Assist members with purchases
- Assess inventory and Sport Shop needs and provide merchandise advice including upselling
- Proactively grow sales within the Sports Shop
- Present merchandise in a visually appealing manner within the Sports Shop
- Repair select sports equipment and string Tennis and Squash racquets as needed
- Promote excellence and pride in customer service and the Mayfair brand
- Maintain a neat and clean Sports Shop

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- 1-2 years retail sales experience
- High school diploma required
- High Knowledge of Tennis equipment: racquets, shoes, apparel and accessories
- Outstanding verbal communication
- Ability to sell creatively and overcome objections
- Good time management skills and work ethic
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Work days:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M4M 1A9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (required)
