Position Summary:

The Tennis Shop Services staff is an integral part of the tennis team at the Lambton Golf and Country Club (the "Club"). This position is responsible for member service and daily maintenance of clay tennis courts.

Terms of Employment:

The Tennis Shop Services position is a part-time year-round position with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday, 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, weekend shifts from 6 am to 1:30 pm, and 1 pm to 9:30 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Tennis Shop Service Staff is responsible for member communication, retail sales, court maintenance, racquet stringing (will train candidate), and minor housekeeping of the Tennis Facility.
  • Assisting members in booking courts
  • Opening or closing maintenance on the tennis courts
  • Assisting the professional staff with special events

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills on the phone, in person and via email
  • Tennis or sports background helpful
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and various computer software programs relating to the tennis operations
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma
