Bookkeeper with Administrative Duties

Burnaby, Canada Dubas Engineering Inc. Full time

Our small dynamic company is seeking an independent bookkeeper on a full-time or part-time basis. We require full cycle bookkeeping including budgeting, bank reconciliations and journal entries.

Your **bookkeeping responsibilities** would include but are not limited to:

- Invoicing
- Cash outflow projections
- Timesheet data entry
- Calculate and prepare payroll for EFT
- GST and WCB filings
- Managing intercompany accounts
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable postings
- Credit cards, bank and other reconciliations
- Assist external CPA with year-end filing
- Prepare various month end reports as directed

**Requirements**:
Excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop Pro is essential

High School graduation with post-secondary education in bookkeeping or accounting

Bookkeeping experience - 3 years minimum

Excellent English skills

Your **administrative responsibilities** would include but are not limited to:

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and the ability to take directions
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), QuickBooks
- Proficiency in typing/dicta-typing (min. 50 wpm)
- Superior command of the English language
- Professional and positive attitude

Duties will include (in general) the following:

- Reception
- Dicta-typing
- Document preparation (i.e. reports, correspondence, contracts, proposals etc.)
- Filing
- Other duties as required
