**Responsibilities**:
**Duties: But not limited to**

**Training**:

- Assist in making changes to safe work practices and procedures to comply with legislation.
- Ensure site inspections are completed at the branch level.
- Follow up to ensure corrective action has been taken whenever deficiencies are identified.
- Ensure the safe installation of equipment.
- Complete all mandatory COR Safety courses.
- Ensure all branches carry out fire drills.
- Respond to all enquiries from the Safety representatives.
- Be involved in any other safety related concerns as they arise.

**Documenting**:

- Maintain current knowledge and enforce the occupational health and safety legislation and communicate updates and changes to Branch Managers within your province. Forward this information to the Allmar Health & Safety Officer.
- Ensure Safety representatives post and maintain all safety bulletins, safety posters and safety regulations as required.
- Receive quarterly reports of records of inspection findings and the suggestions of improvements from each branch.
- Ensure Safety representatives follow the Inspection schedule they have created.
- Prepare a copy of inspection and maintenance reports on equipment, to be used for the COR audit.
- Review all incident reports in their jurisdiction to keep informed about projects and company safety performance.
- Keep records of all Incident Investigations and product statistics for the COR audit and forward to the Allmar Safety Officer annually.
- Provide a list of safety equipment purchased in each branch.
- Ensure all COR courses have been attended by correct personnel.
- Ensure all MSDS are updated every 3 years at the branch level.
- Conduct annual COR audits

**Workers Compensation Board**:

- Assist in completing internal incident investigation reports
- Complete WCB premium rates quarterly for all provinces as required and forward information to Payroll and CFO.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to get along with co-workers - strong interpersonal relational skills absolute

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Maintain current knowledge of changes in government regulations pertaining to Health and Safety policies
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

**Education and Experience Required**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Health and Safety for the construction related industry
- Certificate from Association for Canadian Registered Safety Professionals
