**Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)**:Not applicable, however should have to pass vision test in compliance with CAN/CGSB48.

**Experience**:5 years minimum in measuring / inspection of machined products and able to read engineering drawings.

**Weight Handling**:Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

**Specific Skills**:Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables; Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments; Ability to use, maintain, and calibrate inspection tools and gauges including indicators, digital and manual calipers, micrometers. Prepare, maintain, complete inspection reports and inspection records.

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**:Fast-paced environment; tight deadlines; Repetitive tasks; physically demanding; Standing for extended periods

**Work Site Environment**:The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

**Essential Skills**:Working with others; Problem solving; Decision making; Continuous learning. Knowledge and experience in material handling with OH and Jib cranes.

**Other Information**:Position requires experience in precession measuring tool. Able to perform calibration of measuring tools. Experience in computer operation with Microsoft operating system.

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
