Developmental Support Worker

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, bringing them out on recreational and social outings in the community such as the movies, bowling, mini putt etch
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or support roles is preferred
- Compassion and person-centered approach
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while being sensitive to the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
Licence/Certification:
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
- Naloxone / Narcan training (preferred)
Work Location: On the road
