**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects.
- Assist individuals with heavy lifting and mobility needs.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in caregiving or patient care is preferred, particularly in hospice care or nursing home settings.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others achieve their best quality of life.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is advantageous but not mandatory.

The Developmental Service Worker position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities while working in a supportive environment.

Pay: $21.52-$24.23 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
