**Position Summary**:
Specialized Exports is seeking a detail-oriented, well-organized bookkeeper who can also provide administrative support for our leadership team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Accurately record and maintain financial data in the company's accounting system.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with cash management activities.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in financial analysis as required.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support the Controller in ad hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
- Administrative support for the CEO and COO to document policies, process or spreadsheets as needed.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven work experience as a bookkeeper or worked in a similar financial or administrative role.
- Prior experience in an international company or familiarity with international financial regulations is a plus.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Dynamics accounting software and MS Office Excel.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ethics and integrity in handling financial information.

**Working Conditions**:

- This is a hybrid position so the individual will work mostly from home and be required to meet for team meetings as needed.
- The individual will be required to have a stable internet connection and a suitable workspace conducive to performing the job responsibilities effectively. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with team members and the Controller using various communication tools, ensuring regular updates and coordination.
