Our long-standing downtown Calgary restaurant is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Floor Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guest Experience & Service Excellence:

- Lead the front-of-house team to provide a seamless, high-quality dining experience
- Maintain and enforce exceptional service standards
- Engage with guests, addressing concerns and ensuring service recovery when needed
- Team Leadership & Development:

- Act as a role model for professionalism and hospitality excellence
- Support hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of the FOH team
- Foster a positive, high-energy, and team-oriented culture
- Operations & Floor Management:

- Ensure smooth service by effectively managing staff, table flow, and reservations
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and maintaining operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain communication and service consistency
- Business & Sales Focus:

- Help drive sales through strong service execution and upselling techniques
- Maintain product knowledge, including menu offerings and beverage pairings
- Support senior management in achieving business goals and guest satisfaction targets

What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant
- Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and team leadership
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced service environment
- A desire to develop and grow into a senior management role

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 5 years (preferred)
- Restaurant management: 3 years (required)

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
