**Project Coordinator - Mechanical & Heavy Industrial Focus**

CIMS Limited Partnership is seeking a Project Coordinator with expertise in mechanical and heavy industrial settings, such as oil & gas refineries, pulp and paper facilities, and related industries. You will provide critical support in project coordination and proposal development, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards. This role reports to the Director of Project Services and the Regional Operations Vice President.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in proposal preparation, submissions, and project coordination.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients to ensure expectations are understood and achieved.
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with QA/QC, engineering teams, and contractors to maintain alignment with project goals.
- Attend site meetings to gather progress updates and identify key deliverables.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and scheduling standards in line with industrial best practices.
- Manage closeout documentation and ensure a seamless project handover.
- Assist in preparing and refining proposal responses to enhance clarity and impact.
- Education: A technical degree or equivalent education is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in project coordination within mechanical or heavy industrial construction, particularly in oil & gas or pulp and paper environments.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Solid understanding of mechanical construction services and sub-trade practices.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for team collaboration and client interaction.
- Ability to lead meetings, create actionable plans, and drive project outcomes.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
