We are seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team. This role is crucial for our operations as it will be responsible for all aspects of the bid process including conducting initial takeoffs and compiling detailed estimates for clients and prospective clients. This role also includes a leadership component, where you will be responsible for coaching & training junior estimators.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Compile detailed initial takeoffs and accurate estimates for various flooring projects.
- Coach and train junior estimators who are primarily responsible for doing takeoffs.
- Work closely with the design and installation teams to understand project requirements.
- Assist in the analysis of project specifications and drawings.
- Collaborate with suppliers to gather pricing and material information.
- Ensure estimates are completed on time and align with company standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years experience in construction or flooring estimation is required.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Experience leading / coaching junior estimators is preferred.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software - we use Measure by RFMS.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to receive and quickly implement feedback from project managers.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
