We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Estimator** to temporarily fill a key role **while our Chief Estimator is on a leave of absence**.
**This is a full-time contract position to cover a leave of absence, with strong potential to become permanent based on performance and company needs.**

In person during probationary period
Hybrid option available after successful probation

**Responsibilities**
- Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates from tender documents
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine scope, materials, and labor
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to gather estimate data
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Review and compare supplier and subcontractor bids
- Negotiate pricing for optimal project value
- Develop clear and professional client proposals
- Support project managers with budgeting and cost tracking

**Qualifications**
- **1-3 years of experience in the shoring/foundation industry (shoring experience is required)**:

- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Effective communicator and skilled negotiator
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
