We are seeking a **Research and Quality Assurance Associate** who will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving quality assurance frameworks while contributing to cutting-edge research.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the design and execution of microbiological experiments and research activities.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret research data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards, such as ISO 17025.
- Document research activities and quality assurance measures with precision.
- Train and supervise junior lab staff in compliance with laboratory quality systems.
- Continuously update and refine laboratory procedures based on research findings and regulatory updates.
- **Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance protocols and documentation** tailored for laboratory operations.
- Conduct regular audits of laboratory processes to ensure compliance with quality management systems, including ISO 17025.
- Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions) systems and lead investigations to address non-conformities and improve processes.
- Validate, calibrate, and oversee maintenance schedules for laboratory equipment to meet quality standards.
- Perform risk assessments related to quality issues in laboratory testing and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present quality assurance reports for internal review and external audits.
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and quality assurance innovations applicable to laboratory environments.
- Collaborate with external quality auditors and manage regulatory inspections with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- **2 to 4 years of experience in quality related roles.**:

- Proficiency in microbiological techniques and quality assurance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of laboratory quality management systems, including ISO 17025.
- Demonstrated experience conducting audits, managing CAPA systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate reporting and team collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
