- **The Role**:
Are you a hospitality enthusiast looking for your next adventure? We've got an opportunity that you won't want to miss Firerock Lounge is seeking a talented and passionate individual to lead our team as **General Manager.**

As the General Manager of Firerock Lounge, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, profitability, and guest satisfaction. You will guide a dedicated team, nurturing a positive work culture while driving performance and maintaining our reputation as a premier destination in Whistler.

**Responsibilities**:

- Full sales & product knowledge
- Schedule and managing a team; including recruitment, training and development, coaching and discipline management
- Attend and contribute to regular operations meeting focused on profit and revenue, labour and employee feedback
- Daily inventory to ensure the business is set up for success for the following shift
- Liquor license compliance
- Champion internal feedback and hook up programs
- Marketing and event execution
- Uphold Gibbons Core Values
- Other duties as reasonably directed

**Requirements**:

- Experience in hospitality is essential.
- Marketing/Sales background is an asset
- Guest experience focused involving growing and supporting community connections
- Administration and computer skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft products, POS, employee timekeeping programs.
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong communication skills and ability to react calmly to challenging and stressful situations
- Serving It Right certification
- First Aid (or willing to acquire)

**Salary and Team Perks**:

- $55,000 - $70,000 annual salary based on position, experience and qualifications.
