SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation is hiring for a Procurement Officer, Site Operations.

About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Supply Chain, the Procurement Officer, Site Operations will be responsible for the processes to procure labor, equipment, materials and services to meet Seabee site operations and capital requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner within approved guidelines.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials, equipment, services and labor to support site operational needs.- Manage vendor pre-qualification and categorization into product/service/project segments including maintaining them in the database according to contractor management standards.- Provide timely inputs to the planning of capital project and site operational services including budget creation and optimal solutions to achieve project/service deliverables.- Conduct RFx processes including participating in the development of scopes of work and evaluation criteria, support the development of quality commercial compensation structures for varied scopes of work, lead the evaluation of bids, contract negotiations, business awards, preparation and implementation of contracts from contract opening to close-out.- Coordinate the creation and management of Master Goods and Service Agreements and contracts with suppliers in collaboration with internal legal counsel and other stakeholders.- Manage requisitions, prepare purchase orders and service contracts for capital, maintenance, parts refurbishment, shutdowns, and operational services in an SAP environment.- Collaborate with an integrated team of business stakeholders on demand planning and strategic sourcing initiatives, leveraging global opportunities to develop a local procurement strategy.- Maintain compliance with SSR Mining policies, standards and codes in all procurement activities.- Coordinate contract payouts for milestone/ progress payments, resolve claims for additional work and manage disputes between internal stakeholders, vendors and contractors.- Manage vendor on-time delivery; track and expedite purchase orders, manage delays in lead time, communication with end users and sourcing alternatives for critical late deliveries.- Reconcile invoicing and 3-way match issues in SAP to expeditiously resolve blocked invoices and ensure efficiency in the procure-to-pay process with AP finance team.- Communicate with warehouse staff to deal with any i
