The Payroll Assistant is an entry level position primarily responsible for assisting Payroll in processing Records of Employments through PeopleSoft for multiple operating locations.

This position is a 12-month contract.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Preparing Records of Employments in PeopleSoft and sending them to Service Canada
- The incumbent will ensure Canadian legislation and Payroll processing standards.
- Other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager

**Reporting Relationship**
The Payroll Assistant reports to the Payroll Manager unless alternate reporting relationships have been established.

**Work Location** : Mississauga, National Office ( Hybrid)

Job Qualification

**Education**
Minimum - Secondary School Diploma, and relevant experience in related field. College/University degree considered an asset. Level 1 CPA or working towards it.

**Experience**

**Other Skills and Abilities**
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment, including communication skills both written and oral; providing excellent customer service internally as well as externally; strong sense of organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to multi-task, to maintain a high level of productivity in a deadline-driven environment. Minimum 30 w.p.m. typing speed required. Comfortable with working daily with Pivot Tables and V Look ups.
