Global Operations Shared Services provides multiple business lines and regions operational support for core, high volume functions that are common across lines of business such as contact centre, transaction processing and imaging support. Services are across our global footprint and supported by underlying technology that enables optimization of execution.

Account Recordkeeping is a function within Shared Services and is responsible for supporting multiple business lines in the areas of account maintenance, transaction processing and all other account-owner initiated recordkeeping activities and transactions

Reporting directly to manager, the purpose of the role is of the Team Lead in Account Recordkeeping is to oversee and manage teams of Processors, Senior Processors and Assistant Team Leads who execute transactions at a regional level for account-owners in line with internal risk policies, regulatory requirements, short deadlines and client service level agreements.

Key responsibilities:

- Updates Processors' daily rosters to reflect availability for Workflow processing and assigns tasks outside of Workflow.
- Utilizes tools such as Dashboard and Process Allocate to oversee the distribution of work and ensure that internal, regulatory and client turnaround times and SLAs are met.
- Provide support during internal and external audits of the department. Participate on client tours through demonstrations of the processing system. May be asked to work on additional projects as needed.
- Provides feedback and coaching to Transaction Processors regarding productivity and quality using tools such as Dashboard and quality reports and initiate constructive action process as needed. Prepare and deliver annual performance reviews
- Model teamwork by supporting peers in meeting the overall goals of the department and support team members through motivation and providing support for team members in performing their job duties.
- Review and update operating procedures and policies with the goal of improving efficiency and quality
- Performs self-audits to confirm work is performed in compliance with operational policies and procedures
- Train staff as needed through OTJ or structured classes
- Identify and research errors and issues, document event summaries, perform root cause analysis, and propose and execute remediation plans.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

**What will you bring to the role?**

As a self-starter you will be able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks and work well under pressure with limited supervision both individually and at times, with other team members. Excellent time management and the ability to deal with conflicting priorities will come naturally to you as well as the ability to deal with a variety of written correspondence from senior stakeholders.

Required:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous management experience

Preferred:

- Experience in managing staff in the financial securities or banking industries is preferred.
