Our family’s store began as an Italian meat market and deli offering the freshest cheeses, cold-cuts, and local, free range and organic meats butchered to order. We now have Cioffi’s Wholesale that supplies many of the top restaurants in Vancouver with these same fresh and delicious ingredients.

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a skilled Deli Worker to join our team. As a Deli Worker, you will be responsible for preparing and packing orders for customers, weighing and wrapping products for customers, and slicing and grating cheeses and deli meats. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to have excellent time management and multitasking skills.

**Job Requirements**:

- Prepare and pack orders for customers
- Weigh and wrap products for customers
- Slice and grate cheeses and deli meats
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct end-of-day clean-up
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Some experience in a deli and/or as a deli clerk is an asset (minimum 1-2 years)
- Experience as a deli slicer (cheese, meats, etc.) is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively in person
- Positive and friendly attitude, respectful and self-motivated
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated and team-oriented
- Some experience in a deli, kitchen, restaurant is an asset

**Hours**:

- Wholesale Division operates 6 days a week (closed Sundays)
- Start times are earlier in the morning (6:00 am - 8:00 am)
- Hours and days of work may shift to accommodate company needs
- Available to work weekends on a rotating shift

**Pay**:

- $16-20/hour, with the potential for raises and bonuses
- Compensation commensurate with experience

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
