We specialize in the best Italian products that will help make you look like an expert chef to all your friends and family.

Our family’s store began as an Italian meat market and deli offering the freshest cheeses, cold-cuts, and local, free range and organic meats butchered to order. We now have Cioffi’s Wholesale that supplies many of the top restaurants in Vancouver with these same fresh and delicious ingredients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and recommending products
- Receive, inspect, and store meat products in an organized and efficient manner
- Accurately weigh and price meat products for both retail and wholesale customers
- Prepare meat products for display, including slicing, packaging, and labeling
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the department is fully stocked, clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a meat department or similar setting is preferred
- Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Food Safe certification is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
