The Academy of Learning Career College is currently seeking a motivated facilitator to fill the full-time role of a Learning Coach in Surrey campus.

The Learning Coach is responsible for guiding, monitoring, assisting, motivating students throughout their studies. As a Learning Coach, your responsibilities include:

- Facilitate and troubleshoot with students as regards to their studies
- Maintain a professional image in dress and attitude as required by the School Director;
- Opening the school at least 15 minutes before official school hours and closing the school at the end of the day, when required. Assuming full responsibility for activating or de-activating the alarm system as required.
- Record leads and make appointments for Admissions
- Greet clients
- Make attendance calls
- Keep up to date with new/updated course releases for Learning Coach credentials;
- Evaluate and present problems and shortcomings with materials and equipment to the Director
- Track student’s progress and attendance and to communicate with the Director and colleagues regarding any problems
- Maintain general office administration (filing, e-filing, answering phones, maintaining student records and any others as the need arises);
- Create and prepare e-files, prepare books for new starts;
- Maintain CMS entries and records;
- Prepare exams, activate and issue new courses for student;
- Prepare inventory order and submit order;
- Maintain student MS Access database;
- Prepare and e-fax reports to students’ sponsors;
- Archive files;
- Prepare transcripts;
- Assist with graduation ceremony;
- Order certificates and diplomas from Head Office;
- Using your initiative and being aware of student needs and requirements;
- Any other functions as they are discussed with you or put in writing and agreed to;
- Assist in performing student loan workshops;
- Assist in making sure students in MOA, MOA with UC, CSW and CSW with AW are well-equipped a month before the preceptorship starts.;
- Duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Work Location: In person
