Vancouver, Canada Busters Towing Full time

Busters Towing is a busy 24-hour operation that has been proudly serving the **City of Vancouver** for over 70 years. We are trusted towing professionals with the largest fleet of light, medium, and heavy-duty tow trucks in Western Canada.

We currently have one opening. Below are the shifts to join our team as a P/T dispatcher:

- **Saturday, Sunday & Wednesday: 3 pm - 11 pm (Afternoon shift)**_

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Communicating with drivers over the 2 way radio
- Providing drivers with information such as location, type of vehicle, instructions
- Data entry, high accuracy
- Prioritizing emergency calls
- Keeping track of jobs, making sure they are distributed fairly
- Customer Service answering inbound and making outbound calls
- Providing daily reports to Management
- Following safety procedures

**Requirements**:

- excellent communication skills
- self-motivated and responsible
- strong multi-tasking skills
- professional and adaptable
- geographical knowledge of the City of Vancouver
- able to solve problems in a timely manner and independently in accordance with Company policies/procedures
- Has a Secondary School Diploma
- Has 2-3 years of dispatching experience
- Clean Criminal Record

Job Duties:

- Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations
- Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
- Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
- Maintain vehicle operator work records using computerized or manual methods and ensure timesheets and payroll summaries are completed accurately
- Other duties as requested

Work Remotely
- Potentially after 3-6 months of working at our office.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
