**J*We are seeking a skilled and dedicated **Winter Snow Plowing Operator* to join our team for the upcoming snow season. This role is seasonal and heavily weather-dependent, requiring flexibility and on-call availability. If you have experience operating heavy equipment, particularly a 420 XE backhoe, and are committed to safety, we encourage you to apply.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a 420 XE backhoe to clear snow from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance during snow removal.
- Work collaboratively with team members to plan and execute efficient plowing routes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors to provide updates on progress and report any issues promptly.

**Please Note**:
This is a **seasonal, weather-dependent position** where work hours will vary based on snow conditions. Availability during snow events, including nights and weekends, is essential.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery, particularly backhoes.
- **G License**: an asset
- **Language**: Proficiency in English (preferred).
- **Location**: Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Greater Sudbury, ON before starting.

**Schedule & Availability**:

- Night shifts & day shifts (dependent on snowfalls/weather)
- On-call availability based on snowfall

**Compensation**:

- **Hourly Wage**: $22.50 - $25.00, based on experience
- **Additional Pay**: Performance-based winter bonus
