**JUNIOR BOOKKEEPER**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As the Junior Bookkeeper, you will assist the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Assist with preparing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits.
- Support payroll processing and expense reporting as needed.
- Help prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant regulations.
- Assist accounting team with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
- Perform other administrative and financial tasks as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**:

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- 0-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Acumatica is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
