**YOUR RESPONSABILITIES**
You will be responsible for the full cycle accounts payable function including monthly entries and reconciliations, monthly accounting close, and maintaining internal controls and procedure. To perform this role successfully the Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- You ensure that we follow the appropriate approval processes and expense reports in order to exceed the expectations of our employees and our customers.
- You organize and file the documentation ensuring that the files are ready for the audit at all times.
- You are responsible for verifying accounts by reconciling statements and transactions on a daily basis.
- You liaise with external vendors and internal departments as needed to resolve issues and maintain good relationships.
- You prepare entries for the general ledger, keep records by accounting for account transactions and perform analyses.
- You work with accounting software (SAGE or Quickbooks style) and you have an intermediate level of knowledge with Excel.
- You resolve discrepancies between accounts by reviewing documentation, issuing payments, transactions or adjustments.
- You process a high volume of invoices; You match them to the purchase orders, pay them by verifying the information on the transactions, plan and prepare the disbursements and obtain payment authorization.
**YOUR PROFILE**
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, including full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
- AEC, DEC or DEP in accounting / finance or equivalent.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (mastery of VLookUp functions and pivot tables).
- Skills in organization and prioritization.
- Great attention to detail.
