Hear Québec has been providing ongoing programs, services and support to the hard of hearing community in and around the greater Montréal area since 1979, over 40 years. Many of our team and board members are people affected by hearing loss. We are looking for a positive and professional Communications person to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and people affected by hearing loss. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and run strategic communications strategies.

This position is salary-based and full-time.

**Major responsibilities**
- **Magazine and Print Material**:

- Graphically design and produce a bi-annual magazine.
- Collaborate with the team in the creation of documents needed for the organization.
- Develop and implement advertising campaigns.
- Search and identify potential and new opportunities.
- Evaluate advertising strategies.
- **Website**:

- Review and update website content.
- Coordinate updates process among the different members of the team.
- Analyze and evaluate statistics using Google Analytics.
- Experience with Wordpress is a plus.
- **Social Media** (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube)
- Plan, implement and monitor posts.
- Promote organizational events and programs.
- Supervise, review and proofread graphic designer’s work.
- Analyze and evaluate statistics.

**Other responsibilities**
- Supporting and supervising volunteers
- Assisting with and supporting programing activities
- Assisting in organizing annual events (AGM, Holiday Brunch, etc.)

**Requirements**:

- Post Secondary Degree (Communication is preferred but other fields are possible)
- **Must be Bilingual (Written)**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Experience with Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Drive)
- Excellent in organizational, time-management and work prioritization skills
- Flexibility and an ability to learn quickly

**Assets**
- Experience with people with disabilities, specifically hearing loss
- Experience with non-profit organizations
