Join our team as a Designated Driver While working with us, you will play a crucial role in preventing impaired driving incidents, you will also be providing a safe trip home to our customers. Together, we have the power to prevent the damages caused by over 75,000 annual car accidents resulting from intoxicated drivers in Canada.
- You will be able to choose your own working hours. (e.g. 11pm - 3:30am)_
**Qualifications**:
- As part of this role, you will need another person willing to work with you. The person who works with you should be living in the same household.
- Must have access to a vehicle.
- Primary driver is required to have a valid Full G driving license with a clean driving record.
- Chase driver is required to have a valid G2 or above driving license.
- Willing to work weekends, and holidays as needed. (On-Call)
- Pass a background check.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Respond and check in with dispatch whenever you are contacted.
- Must be professional when with customers.
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or maps.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong commitment to safety.
- (Preferable) Experience in driving various vehicle types and sizes as well as experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
**Primary Driver Responsibilities**:
- Drive customers' vehicles from their current location to their desired destination.
- Follow designated routes and ensure safe and responsible driving practices.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure passengers' comfort and safety throughout the journey.
**Chase (Secondary) Driver Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the chase driver, following behind the primary driver in the customer's car.
- Coordinate with the driver to ensure smooth transitions and timely pickups.
- Communicate effectively with the driver and dispatch team to coordinate logistics and schedules.
**Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles.
- Conduct pre
- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure they meet safety standards.
**Customer Service**:
- Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting passengers with entering and exiting vehicles and handling luggage or belongings.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients at all times.
