**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks and vans, to transport freight and goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight
- Ensure accurate delivery of products by verifying orders and delivery addresses.
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Follow all safety protocols related driving regulations.
- Log Hours and Invoice on a bi weekly basis.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to handle physical workload (up to 50 pounds)
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related roles preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers. This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery in the transportation industry.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 36 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Route driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
