Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our culture, products and customer needs
- Customer site visits with the sales team to understand the market and customers' business to uncover opportunities.
- Provide consultative support for project and product opportunities to customers and teams.
- Work with sales teams and customers to uncover new products or market opportunities
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer questions and/or field issues.
- Provide technical information in accordance with CSA B149.1, CSA B149.2; Transport Canada codes and ASME Codes.
- Participate in industry committees and sub committees.
- Support Sales team with product demonstrations in the field.
- Attend conferences, trade shows and committee meetings.
- The role will also encompass a product management function helping our marketing team manage catalogs, online technical materials and digital assets to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
- Create a train the trainer program to develop the in-house teams' skills

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in Technical and Consultative Sales
- Product management or marketing experience
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Solid presentation skills and a strong public speaker
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- High Figure it out factor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and analyze technical drawings and specifications
- Understanding of Codes and Standards
- Experience in Technical Sales, Sales Management and Marketing
- Familiarity with product management principles
- Someone who is detail-oriented and likes to help customers and team members deliver solutions and solve problems
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience in performing and leading training sessions
- Has the ability and love to travel (Canada and USA)
- Experience working in or within the oil and gas industry

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
