Since 1943 N.R. Murphy Ltd prides itself on being a people oriented company focused on designing and manufacturing the highest quality of air pollution control equipment. N.R. Murphy is currently looking for an Technical Sales Representative to provide sales and technical support for current customers, as well as generate new sales in Southeastern Ontario. The sales territory includes: The K/W region, Guelph, London, Hamilton, St. Catherines, Niagara Falls, Oakville, Brantford, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and solutions for new and existing client needs and inquiries regarding sales and technical service.
- Develop new leads and sales opportunities.
- Continuously develop, refine and prepare a plan of action to attain company sales objectives, submitted to the Sales Manager.
- To represent the company in a manner that inspires confidence and respect.
- To collect all necessary data that is required by engineering for quoting purposes and to cooperate with engineering in collecting furthering information if required.
- To promptly acknowledge and expediate the handling of all quotations, purchase orders, etc. as requested by the Sales Manager.
- Studying all marketing and product information/material when issued and organize them into working materials.
- Installation commissioning and offer general product demonstrations.
- To attend conventions, and trade shows as directed by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

- Sales Experience, with a strong record of success is strongly preferred.
- Strong presentation, negotiating and closing skills.
- Self motivator and able to work independently to meet and execute on strategic sales goals.
- Ability to learn basic mechanical operations. Knowledge of HVAC and Dust Collection is an asset.
- Must have your own economical car, no more than five years old and maintained in a presentable condition as determined by the Sales Manager.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 + Commission
- Full Benefits
- Car and Meal Allowance ($800/Month)
- Phone Bill Allowance

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
