**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead high-volume recruiting efforts** to meet project-based hiring demands, including labor, trades, administrative, and support roles.
- **Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies** to handle large-scale staffing needs efficiently.
- **Collaborate with hiring managers** to understand staffing requirements and develop detailed job descriptions.
- **Facilitate onboarding handoffs** to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- **Conduct reference checks** and other pre-employment screenings as needed.
- **Track and analyze recruitment metrics** to identify areas for improvement and provide regular updates to management.
- **Participate in recruitment events and job fairs** to network and promote Canoco Energy Services as an employer of choice.
- **Adapt to the dynamic nature of the role**, taking on additional HR or administrative tasks during slower recruiting periods, such as:

- Supporting onboarding and training initiatives.
- Contributing to policy and process improvements.
- Assisting with internal projects and employee engagement efforts.
- Engaging in professional development to enhance recruitment strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Local to the Greater Edmonton area or Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
- Previous recruitment experience, particularly in the oil and gas or construction industry, is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
