**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Butcher and portion meats
- Cook meats, pastas, and various sides during service
- Set and maintain mise en place
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a cook or food service role.
- Basic Butchery/ meat portioning
- Cooking of various meats such as Duck and Venison is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and management effectively.

**About Antler**
- 4 day work weeks, 10 hour days
- Tips paid weekly an average of $350/per week
- All our food is made in house, a great opportunity to learn charcuterie, baking, desserts, butchery and more
- Game meat focused, using seasonal wild forged ingredients

- Closed on Monday, Dinner service only
- Shifts 1 pm-11 pm
