**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

Hours are flexible but we are looking for daytime and evening coverage, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. There will be opportunities for additional compensated weekend work as well. Typical office hours are expected, but some degree of flexibility will be required based on the activities in our daily clinics. You will receive our standard medical insurance package and funding for personal liability insurance. Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Reviewing all incoming results for physicians and actioning as appropriate.
- Creating and implementing preventative care and management plans for certain patients.
- Responding to clinical tasks, as assigned by physicians
- Managing referrals for physicians using our platform
- Coordinating special medical projects created by the medical team and CEO
- Assisting with the Rocket Doctor’s home devices program
- Offering primary care service in our continuity of care clinic under the indirect supervision of the Rocket Doctor Physicians.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- This job requires access to excellent internet, a computer with built in camera functionality, and access to a smart phone with Canada-wide calling.
- You will be required to maintain standards of professionalism including but not limited to confidentiality, documentation, product development, and organization.
- No travel is required for this position.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Formal medical training or employment within patient care in the field of medicine which may include but not limited to international medical graduate degrees and/or international medical practice experience
- Graduate of a university accredited Physician Assistant Program (not mandatory)
- Member of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants with CCPA designation (not mandatory)
- Clinical experience as a clinical or physician assistant, particularly in primary care or emergency medicine, is preferred though not mandatory
- Clinical experience in telehealth is preferred though not mandatory
- Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills

LOCATION: This is a telehealth position and can be done remotely from anywhere in Canada
