**As a Foreperson, You Will**:

- Direct the activities and performance of crew and subcontractors
- Ensure all products meet specifications
- Perform administrative duties, including tracking quantities for production and payment
- Manage client relationships in a professional and productive manner
- Inspect and review work in progress and adjust accordingly
- Be flexible with work assignments and resources such as equipment and materials
- Conduct ‘tail gate’ safety talks with staff to review policies and practices
- Ensure safety practices are followed by the crew
- Review documents, ensuring accuracy and completion

**What You'll Bring**:

- Mechanical inclination is an asset
- 5 years’ experience in asphalt, grade prep or other related activities. Some lead hand/supervisory experience is required
- Strong leadership skills and ability to engage and manage the crew
- Ability to communicate effectively
- High attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a fast paced and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
- Available to work extended hours and weekends, when required as well as travel, when required
